Maya Bay is a very wonderful beach in the world. Maya Bay has become the main tourist attraction of Phi Phi since The Beach was filmed here in 1999. It was always very popular before the film but now people around the world who haven't even heard of Phi Phi have certainly heard of Maya Bay. If you go Phi Phi island and you don`t visit Maya Bay beach you see nothing.

Oh yes, it is superb and worth going! But make sure you come early and get your photos before the crowds!

Snorkeling and diving are excellent throughout the bay, large underwater boulders are encrusted with coral and brightly colored fish are numerous. Visibility is excellent.

The Viking cave, also known as Tham Phaya Nak and has no relation with Vikings, is also located on Phi Phi Leh. Limestone cave with wall paintings & site for harvesting bird nests for a traditional Chinese soup. The Chinese are fond of swiftlet nests (a bird of the family of swifts often confused with swallow), which are supposed to boost virility. These birds roost away from predators, protected in high caves. To reach the nest, gatherers are using fragile bamboo scaffolding.

Fun with Monkeys. Monkey beach is a superb small white sand beach on the west coast of the main island of Phi Phi, not far from Tonsai Bay where the ferry dropped you. Of course, you can expect to meet some naughty monkeys, always ready to grab whatever food you carry.

Bamboo Island is a small island found 30 to 40 minutes north of Phi Phi Don. The view of the approach to the island is just awesome. The water is tempting and the waves are gentle. It is a must visit for anyone who loves to laze about on a beach. Bamboo island itself was beautiful clean white sand with a safe swimming area.

Phi Phi viewpoint is one of the high points of a visit to Phi Phi Don. The viewpoint is elevated to 186m, which isn't really that high. If you're feeling energetic, it's a brisk 20-minute walk and if not you can have a leisurely 30-minute stroll to the top. You can easily reach Phi Phi viewpoint by foot and this is where visitors take the iconic ‘2 bays view’ photo of Phi Phi.
